The North Carolina Artists Exhibition is an annual statewide event that offers artists an opportunity to present their work and be juried by a renowned art professional.
This 2018 show marks the Artists Exhibition's 40th anniversary since becoming first a regional and ultimately a statewide juried show. The NC Artists Exhibition is open to all North Carolina resident artists and all media. 2018 marks the second year that a four color printed catalog of the juried art will be published.
Date and Location: The 2018 Exhibition will be held March 4, 2018 until April 22, 2018 at the Betty Ray McCain Gallery at the Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts at 2 E South Street Raleigh, NC 27601.
Hours: The Gallery is open weekdays 9:00-5:00pm. Admission is through the Box Office. The Gallery is also open during performances and events at the Duke Energy Center.

Meet Jennifer Dasal, Juror
2018 North Carolina Artists Exhibition
We are excited to introduce Jennifer Dasal, the Juror for the 2018 Artists Exhibition. Jennifer is the associate curator of contemporary art at the North Carolina Museum of Art, where she has been employed since 2008. Her research expertise includes contemporary art with a particular interest in women artists and Asian art. Prior to joining the NCMA, she held positions as assistant to the curator of Western art at the Snite Museum, University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, and at the Richard L. Nelson Art Gallery, University of California, Davis. She has additional experience working in commercial art galleries. Jennifer hosts the ArtCurious Podcast a bi-weekly show exposing the unexpected, the slightly odd, and the strangely wonderful in art history.
